　　The Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway is China’s first modern transportation project to be financed by World Bank loans and adopt international technical standards. It is also the country’s first expressway project contracted through international bidding under the globally-recognized FIDIC conditions of contract for construction work.
